With the release of Marvel’s Spider-Man 2 produced by Insomniac Games, I was inspired to revisit an old art piece of mine and remaster it in a way I’ve never done before.
Both Spider-Man and Venom have been my personal favorite hero-villain duo for over a decade and I wanted to honor their legacy by making one of my most ambitious art pieces yet by including animation and bringing my work to life.
I’m looking forward to incorporating this skill into future projects!

This is a traditional art piece made in 2016 that inspired this current project.
The art style was heavily inspired by famous Spider-Man comic book artist, Mark Bagley, who I actually had the pleasure to show this to at a Comic-Con around the time that this was made.
The colors are vibrant and the composition was striking, so I wanted to include those elements into the remastered piece.
